One-time fees and security deposit

- Deposit: Two months’ rent at the start of the school year

Boarding school
- Grades 1–10: €3,115.00
- Grades 11–13: €3,235.00
- Flat-rate utility fee: €200.00
Day school
- Grades 1–10: €385.00
- Grades 11–13: €489.00
This is included in the tuition
The boarding school tuition covers all essential services:
- Small-class instruction
- Remedial courses (math, German, foreign languages)
- Accommodation with host families
- Full board with healthy meals
- Educational supervision outside of school hours
Possible additional costs
In addition to regular tuition, there may be other expenses:
- Recreational Activities and Excursions
- Pocket money (via an expense account)
- Travel expenses for arrival and departure (train/airline tickets, bus transfers)
You should expect to pay a low to mid-three-digit amount per month.
Support through scholarships
In collaboration with the Scholarship Fund of the Alumni and Friends of the Hermann-Lietz Schools, the Hermann-Lietz-Schule Foundation awards several scholarships each year. These scholarships can cover up to 50% of tuition and boarding fees. Eligibility requires good academic performance, personal commitment, and a willingness to actively participate in the school community.
