Not every child has to live at the boarding school to benefit from Haubinda’s unique learning and living environment. Our full-day school offers students from the region the opportunity to fully experience the boarding school’s classes, recreational activities, and community life—and return home in the evening.
More than just classes – part of the community
Day students are an integral part of the school community. They attend classes in small groups of no more than 18 to 20 students, enjoy a freshly prepared lunch, and participate in a wide range of recreational and enrichment activities.

Convenient Transfer Service
To ensure a stress-free commute to school, the Lietz Boarding School in Haubinda offers its own shuttle service. In the morning, students are picked up at designated pickup points in Coburg, Bad Königshofen, Bad Rodach, Römhild, and Hildburghausen; in the afternoon, they return to those locations around 5:00 p.m.
Travel times are short—usually less than an hour—and allow for a regular daily routine.
Learning with a Future in Mind
The all-day school in Haubinda offers a full range of educational opportunities: From the Mittlere Reife and Fachhochschulreife to the Abitur at the vocational high school, students can earn all state-recognized diplomas here. Students can switch tracks—such as from the Realschule track to the Gymnasium track—without changing schools.
This way, your child can remain flexible and receive exactly the support they need for their individual educational path.
