Scholarships at the Lietz Boarding School in Haubinda
Discovering talent and creating opportunities
Supporting gifted and dedicated students has been a core part of our mission since the Lietz Schools were founded. More than 100 years ago, Hermann Lietz himself placed great emphasis on the fact that educational opportunities should not be determined by background or financial means, but rather by achievement, talent, and character.
Who are scholarships intended for?
Our scholarships are intended for young people who stand out for their exceptional talents or dedication:
It is important to us that these potentials can be nurtured and developed—regardless of the family’s financial situation.
Support in social matters as well
In addition to fostering talent, we also place a strong emphasis on social considerations. As early as 2004, a dedicated scholarship fund was established using the special endowment of the association “Altbürger und Freunde der Hermann-Lietz-Schulen e. V.” Together with this foundation, we are able to award several scholarships each year covering up to 50% of tuition and boarding fees.
