The Lietz Boarding School Village in Haubinda is idyllically situated in southern Thuringia—nestled between the Thuringian Forest and the beautiful Werra Valley. It is part of the municipality of Westhausen in the district of Hildburghausen. The district seat, Hildburghausen, is only about 20 km away. Located directly on the state border with Bavaria, the neighboring town of Trappstadt is within easy reach.

How do you get to Haubinda?

By car:
It takes only about 1.5 hours to drive to Haubinda from Fulda, Erfurt, or Nuremberg. All three cities have an ICE station, so traveling by train is also easy.

By train and shuttle service:
We provide our students with their own shuttle bus. It takes them regularly to the train stations in Fulda, Lichtenfels, and Suhl and picks them up there again—a comfortable and safe solution for getting to and from school.
